Lost Art of Vancouver

Do you find your closet overflowing with forgotten canvases, or is your studio a treasure trove of neglected creations? Have you ever strolled past a dishevelled painting in a back alley and wondered about its story? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you've come to the right place.

"Lost Art of Vancouver" questions the principles of art’s given value while delving into the intricate narratives around forgotten and discarded artworks. This project seeks to challenge age-old notions of artistic value, transform the discarded into the cherished, and bridge the divide between those who have art but no connection to it and those who crave art but lack access.

The Quest Begins: Our mission is clear: we unearth art from the shadows, whether it's tucked away in your home, abandoned in a forgotten corner, or lying exposed to the elements. "Lost Art of Vancouver" invites you to contribute to this transformative exhibition by breathing new life into these forsaken treasures.

Themes: Untold stories of Vancouver, lost treasure, what makes art valuable, art’s transformation into trash, and vice versa.
